Digital Painting Project WIP

so, this is one of the independent projects I'm doing in my digital painting class. i decided to go with food, and make them into posters/post cards later on about travel. idk when ill get to that part, but i just wanted to show you guys some of the work I've put into the painting so far. my teacher really really likes it so far, and he seemed really excited about it yesterday when i showed it to him. You can also see how i work. i put the photo in the corner on a separate layer and make a color palate for myself on the same layer so far there are 6 layers. not too bad, normally i have a billion
